About
About Me
I was a secondary school teacher for over 20 years and have been delivering my services in Assistive Digital Technologies for people with disabilities for the last 20 years.
My focus is on ensuring that what I recommend works for the client, meets their needs and they are educated to be able to utilise it fully. I prefer to educate rather than simply train.
I have assisted people across a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities including specialised work with Complex and Multiple Needs cases utilising technology.
I also develop Technology Needs for Life Reports for law firms.
I have been a registered provider to Transport Accident Commission, WorkCover Victoria and NDIS. A range of my other clients are listed below.
I have been working with Dragon Naturally Speaking for the last 20 years from when it was a very new program and the old Dragon Dictate. In fact, it was what led me into the disability field. I was also born in the Year of the Dragon and hence my little mate on my logo. I provide expert training and assistance with Dragon Naturally Speaking to ensure the end user can get the most out of it. I often find that people with disabilities need more than just the standard Dragon training company.
I am a team player and like to effectively communicate with all parties to ensure the best outcome for the person at the centre of our work. My aim is always a holistic approach to ensure that everything interacts together and the end user engagement and control suits the person.
In many cases, most of the clients below have requested my involvement to carry out a Technology Assessment and Needs Analysis. They then request I implement the recommendations to provide a technology platform that can assist people with a range of physical and cognitive issues to be able to utilise technology to enhance their independence.
